Jump Start on Christmas

I had so much fun at a recent card-making event by a SU demo friend's house.  I got to make 12 cards (at a great price!) and they are all fabulous.  I'll be sharing Linda's designs and the cards I made over the next several posts.  Going to her events inspires me, but it also gives me great samples to post.

This one would be great for mass production, and since I do over 200 Christmas cards each year, I'm looking for that feature.  Course, if I chose this one, I'd have to purchase that stinkin' cute stocking punch.  LOVE it.  I used a current SU stamp for the stocking image in Old Olive, then punched it out. The new glitter paper is great and I punched that for the stocking top, toe and heel.  It's very blingy and bling is good.

The card base is from Old Olive cardstock and the embossed panel that covers the front is in the same color.  I liked that effect.  The rest was super easy--stocking is popped up, sentiment on the bottom, layer the image piece, mat in red, wrap a ribbon around it and set it at an angle.  I could do that, and I think I'd still love it after making 200....

More Christmas and all occasion coming soon.  Blessings on your day!

I got the stocking stamp set and matching punch recently in a promotion, but I'm yet to use it to make a card. It'd be good for making the mass produced cards we need at this time of the year. You friend does nice card kits. :)
